There's a story behind this slicker brush... It's no ordinary slicker brush! We met the manufacturer of this brush, based in the North of England, while on a business trip in Europe. We had a play with the prototype as soon as we could and the finish it leaves on a dog's coat is magnificent! Which is why we decided to call this product the Glad Brush... Because you will be Glad you bought it.
WHY?
Why is it different to other dog slicker brushes?
Well this is a very good question, I have had lots of slicker brushes as a Dog Groomer and none are quite like this one. First of all the pins, it's all about the pins. Double the amount to be precise, quality steel pins that don't bend or break when meeting the first knot or dog matt. It's not meek when it meets matts or knots instead it tackles them head on in a gentle way, leaving a fantastic shiny coat. Also wonderful for removing dead undercoat. Every dog moults even if they are a poodle, all hair and fur grows in cycles, regular use of our brushes will leave you pet looking suave, and your carpets free from hair and your hoover hanging its plug up for a while.
We've come across plenty of Slicker Brushes with pins that bend or break off, but these brushes win hands down, which is why we put our name to it!

INFO
This is a medium and fine brush. Medium Glad Slicker Brushes are great for medium breeds as they cover more area per brush.
Whats the difference between the Coarse and the Fine Glad Brushes?
Good question! Dogs have different types of coat and the best way to help you decide is this, your dog either has a harsh coat or a very fine coat. Harsh coats tend to include double coated dogs, and terriers. Fine coated dogs tend to include Bichon Frise, Poodles, Yorkshire terriers. The fine Glad brush is more padded and cushioned where the Coarse is more stiff to tackle more harsher coats and undercoat.
