Peppermint Shampoo

All ingredients are the same for Original except there is no Mentha Piperita (Peppermint Oil)

Cocamidopropyl Betaine

Is derived from Coconut oil, it’s a mild cleanser, that  also helps to clean and condition skin and coat.  It’s a great foaming agent, which helps to product a gorgeous lucisious fluffy natural lather. Also acts as a facilitator to emulsify with water (basically means it easily mixes with water).

 

Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate

Is a cleansing agent derived from coconuts that helps to degrease a dogs coat and skin in a kind way, without stripping out natural oils..  It’s a gentle yet effective cleaner.  It also helps to foam that gorgeous fluffy natural lather.

 

Glycerin

The Glycerin in our product has been derived from vegetables and coconuts.  Glycerin is a humectant which helps to attract moisture to the skin to keep the skin and coat moistured. Creating a protective layer to help the skin absorb goodness but also giving a protective layer to stop bad things soaking in.

 

Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate

Is a naturally occurring fungus made from fermenting vegetables.  This fungus likes to eat odour, such as sweat molecules, odour and wetness smells.   Great for stinky dogs, this is our natural deodoriser.

 

Sodium Chloride

This is table salt, a common ingredient in shampoo, as it helps to thicken up the shampoo so its not too runny in our hands.  It’s also great for detoxifying skin, by drawing out toxins.

 

Phenoxyethanol

Is naturally occurring and is found in Green Tea.  It’s a preservative that helps to fight unwanted bacteria from developing in our product.

 

Sodium Lauoyl Sarsonate

Is a foaming cleanser, that improves the body, suppleness and sheen of coat and skin.it also helps  the coconut oil to mix with water to help cleanse and rinse off dirt effectively.

 

Mentha Piperita (Peppemint) oil

A natural oil that is Antimicrobal . Peppermint oil mixed with water can help aid to clear up skin infection, itchiness, allergic rashes and bacterial infections.  It also aids as an amazing fresh clean fragrance.

 

PEG-120 methyl Glucose Dioleate

Is a compound used to help thicken the shampoo but to also help protect the skin by reducing irritation to skin.

 

Ethylhexlglycerin

is derived from grains and plants.  It’s a preservative that helps to keep natural ingredients in our product from spoiling or going off.  Ethulhexlgycerin is also used as a conditioniner in Eczema creams.

 

Panethenol (vitamin B5)

Is a humectant, which helps to keep the hair and skin moisturised.  It also spread a smooth film over the hair cuticles that gives a healthy shiny look.  The smooth film also helps to prevent matts and tangles.

 

Niacinamde (Vitamin B3)

Also known as the Energiser.  Vitamin B3 Is necessary for cell metabolism.  It helps to strengthen the skin barrier, it has anti acne properties, and helps to assist, collagen sysnthesis and hair growth.

 

Sodium Starch Octenylsuccinate

A stabiliser and emulsifier.

 

Calcium Pantothenate

Is known as the Moisturiser, and has amazing skin healing properties, great for open wound healing and soothing irritated skin.  It converts into a free vitamin B5.

 

Maltodextrin

Is derived from corn, rice and potatoes. It helps to nourish the skin by reducing skin irritations and also contains anti aging properties.   Its mainly used to help bind all of the ingredients together. 

 

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C)

Stable water sluable form of vitamin c that functions as an antioxidant, is skin soothing and naturally brightening.

Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)

The protector, Vitamin E aids skin and coat by acting as an antioxidant it also mosturises skin and coat and gives UV protection.

 

Pyridoxine HCL (Vitamin B6)

The Cell Activator – this ingredient is essential for normal skin metabolism.

 

Potassium Sorbate

Is a mild preservative that stops bacteria from growing in the shampoo.  It’s a common preservative found in many food products.

Sodium Benzoate

Is a preservative, naturally occuring in fruits such as cranberries, prunes and apples.

 

Silica.

Sillica is a naturally occurring product fund in sandstone, clay, granite and plants.
